Raise your hand if you love 'Wingers' Sticky Fingers as much as I do! ...Raise your hand if you have no clue what I'm talking about! lol Okay, so if you dont, 'Wingers' is a popular restaurant chain here in Utah (and I'm sure other states), that is known for their 'Sticky Sauce'. They drench it over the top of breaded chicken fingers and wings. Mmmmmm It is sooo tasty!
This amazing sauce could not be any easier to make! All you need is some Frank's Original Hot Sauce ( it has to be Frank's), brown sugar and water. Yep, that's it! You heat them up on the stove-top, and then pour it over some breaded chicken. So easy, and super scrumptious! My favorite way to eat them is 'wrap' style! I throw in some shredded cheddar cheese, lettuce and tomato, just like 'Wingers' does!
Sticky-Finger Wraps
1/3 cup Frank's Original Hot Sauce
1 cup Brown Sugar
1/4 cup water
Wraps:
8 Breaded Chicken Fingers (you can get these from your grocery store deli, or buy them frozen)
4 Flour Tortillas (burrito size)
2 cups Cheddar Cheese, shredded
1 cup Tomatoes, chopped
2 cups Lettuce, chopped
DIRECTIONS:
For the sauce: In a medium saucepan heat the hot sauce, brown sugar and water over medium heat until sugar is dissolved and sauce is heated thoroughly. About 5-10 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand a few minutes to thicken. For the wraps: *If using frozen chicken fingers, bake according to package directions*
Place cooked chicken fingers in a large tupperware. Pour in the sauce. Seal shut with the lid and shake to coat all chicken fingers.
Place two sauce-coated chicken fingers onto one tortilla. Add desired amount of cheese, lettuce and tomato. Wrap up and serve! * I like to dip mine in Ranch : )

How spicy? I have a 5 year old, and being pregnant I don't want awful heart burn? They look and sound delish! Maybe a small drizzle of ranch will help :)
Victoria- I really did'nt think they were all that spicy. I am not a big fan of way spicy stuff, and I think their great! Just in case, maybe drop the hot sauce down a tablespoon or two. : )
Great! I think we'll do this next week. I needed a couple chicken recipes since I have beef 3 times on the plan. Thanks :)
Those looks yummy! I am keeping this in mind, it is a great quick and easy rushed evening meal!
So glad I discovered your blog! You have lots of great recipes I am excited to try!
Scrum-dium-dium-tious!!! Wowzers! I am going to put those on my list...do you think it would work with grilled chicken instead of breaded?
I think it would, and might even try grilled chicken instead. :)
I think it would be great with grilled chicken! This sauce is amazing!! Let me know how it turns out if you do!
Can you believe I have neveer been to Wingers?!
But these look good!
I love chicken finger wraps. I have made it so many ways but I've never made it like this before. It's now on my list...LOL.
oh oh oh! I want to make this! Sounds great! Where do you buy Frank's Hot Sauce?
Mandy- I've bought it at Wal-mart and I've seen it at other grocery stores. : )
I swear my stomach is growling and my mouth is watering reading the post and looking at your pictures. I am making this tonight for dinner.
Holly- I was raising my hand because I never heard of wingers :) But, those wraps look so yummy. I just ate lunch but they are making my feel hungry already. Thanks for sharing the recipe.

Ben and I used to go to the Wingers in Moscow, Idaho, right across the border to our old university Washington State U. I love their sauce - I had NO clue it was so easy to make. Okay I'm sold and making these as a surprise for him. Thanks Lovely!
Mmmmm...I LOVE these wraps from wingers. So much flavor! These pics look just like theirs!
This sounds and looks awesome! I wish I could taste it :)!!
What great photos! These sound really tasty, too! I love the dressing too, hot sauce + brown sugar = delicious.
I LOVE franks hot sauce...must try for me
I had no idea what you were talking about but it does sound delicious. Fingerlicking good ;)
This sounds delicious, though I've never heard of it before.
I had the same question as Victoria - I couldn't handle the heat, but if they aren't that bad, there's a chance the husband and I both could love these! He's a huge fan of hot food and absolutely loves chicken fingers. These do look good!
I've never heard of that chain before; but the wrap looks delicious! I'm going to have to give the hot sauce/brown sugar combo a try. It sounds wonderful to me!
Those look sensational! I love hot sauce.
I've never heard of them, but they sure do look delicious!
This dish is new to me but it certainly looks delicious and is worth trying. I hope you have a great day. Blessings...Mary
I have 2 hands raised way up in the air!!! YUM
Wraps are so scrummy and this one looks very satisfying!
Cheers,
Rosa
Ok Holly - These ROCKED my world at lunch today! I bought breaded chicken tenders so I could make them as written, and they were seriously PHENOMINAL! Thanks so much for introducing such tastiness into my life ;)
Glad to see you linked up to:
"Made it on Monday" :)
I made these last night and everyone loved them! Thanks so much for sharing!
These were so good! I can't wait to go to the store to get more chicken fingers! A great recipe, thank you!
oh my these look soo amazing!!! next weeks meal plan.thanks
I'm making these for dinner! Can't wait!
This is my husband's new favorite. He said the sauce makes it amazing. It is really good. The wraps were great because it cut the heat in the sauce so that you can't really notice it. If I eat the chicken plain I notice the heat. I love the sweet and spicy combo. Another quick and really tasty recipe Holly. I've made it a few times already it was such a hit.
These were wonderful!!! I ate two entire wraps (ahem - don't judge me). And definitely one of the easiest dinners I have ever made. Thank you! :)
I did this a bit differently. No, it doesn't have to be Frank's Hot Sauce. WalMart's Great Choice worked okay for me. I simply grilled 2 small chicken breasts, cut them into fingers; then I poured the sauce over them & served them w/a tossed salad. Super Duper good! I don't care for wraps so I just eliminated it.
EllieAnn- glad to hear it worked for you using a different hot sauce. I've tried it with others too, but prefer Franks. I think the flavor is the best with Frank's.
Never heard of this wing place, but thank goodness I found this recipe! Now I know what's for dinner & whadda ya know!! I already have ALL the ingredients!! Thanks a bunch!!
It is simply awesome when you get a whiff of the sauce & realize you have totally faked it like the Wingers sauce. So good. We have been making this for a while now & usually leave it off of the chicken for the little kitlens.
Made these for dinner tonight. My husband and 4yr old loved them! Thank you!
Oh my, the family freaked about how much they loved this!!! Thanks for posting
